Joe Nazario, RIP

Today, SSEU Local 371 lost a true warrior, a committed unionist and a friend in the passing of Joseph Nazario. Our condolences go out to his family and many friends and colleagues. Joe will be truly missed but his contributions to this local, District Council 37 and the labor movement will never be forgotten. He was a relentless fighter for workers and human rights.

Our prayers and sympathies go out to the families in Newtown, CT. The murder of those children and adults is unconscionable. The families are going through incredible pain. This incident reminds us of the preciousness and fragility of life. It also reminds us that evil has no boundaries or heart.
