Opting out of city health coverage has a downside as you will no longer be eligible for reimbursement of Medicare Pat B. There is a period when you can change coverage to another coverage (non HMO) where you you won't have interference with your DC37 health and security coverage.

Just wanted to keep in touch. Got laid off in September 2009 after 8 years of services with ACS. Was an active delegate for most of my 8 years. Enjoyed it very much will miss my coworkers a lot.

I cannot disenroll from HIP NEW YORK after making 8 calls to NYC administrator.I need disenrollment letter sent to new Delaware address so I can receive benifits fr DC37 my union. Lots of energy expended to no avail.Pls help! SOMEONE,PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I live now at 1401 Pennsylvania Ave,Wilmington,Delaware.Will ans all mail,so write pronto. Retired 2008 as a Child Evaluation Specialist at the Bronx Field Office. I remained an active union delegate until my retirement and will stay in touch with the local for its many important events.

Former trustee of the Legal Services Fund had to leave the union when I became a Child Protective Manager. Retired as Director of Foster Care for Manhattan and Staten Island.
Worked ten years for the State of Florida and now work as
a patient advocate for a local hospital Also am organist at a local church
